Real Estate Photo Editing Checklist

  1. Exposure

Shadows hold detail without grey wash; highlights keep texture, especially near windows.

  2. White balance

Whites look neutral under the room lighting; warm lamps are fine if intentional. Flag shots that run warmer or cooler than the rest of the shoot.

  3. Window detail

Exterior visible but not neon; if the original is fully clipped, recovery may be impossible.

  4. Vertical lines

Walls and door frames run straight; wide-angle lean corrected where metadata allows.

  5. Property integrity

Doors, windows, fixtures, and room geometry match the source — nothing added, removed, or reshaped.

  6. Text integrity

TV screens, signs, and labels read cleanly with no garbled characters.

  7. AI artifacts

No halos around windows, no plastic skin on fabrics, no warped edges, no repeated textures.

  8. Shoot consistency

Same room, same brightness baseline; flag outliers for reprocessing.

  9. Final delivery check

Correct versions accepted, filenames clean, ZIP opens and counts match.
